Job Description:
We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team at Star Universal. The role involves supervising site activities, coordinating with workers and contractors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring quality and safety standards at the construction site.
Site Locations: All Around in Chennai.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily fabrication and construction site activities.
- Ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, welders, and workers.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, erection, and installation quality.
- Plan and manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Inspect completed work and resolve technical/site issues.
- Maintain daily progress reports, work records, and documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of work within project deadlines.
- Attend site meetings and communicate progress to project management and clients.
Job Requirements:
- Attention to detail is very important
- Ability to follow instructions properly
- Bike is mandatory for site travel
- Basic knowledge of construction/site work preferred
- Team handling and coordination skills
- MS Excel/AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage
